Dr. Rajesh Ragbir, ND brings a compassionate, heart based, patient centred presence to his practice of Naturopathic Medicine. He believes in the vis medicatrix naturae, the Healing Power of Nature, and that our bodies and minds are part of the vis. Health and healing are multidimensional and hence wholism and a 360o approach, which integrates mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, social and ecological aspects, are used to assess and facilitate his patients’ journey.
All treatments are aligned with treating each patient as an individual, as more than just their symptoms, and with the other Principles of Naturopathic Medicine: First do no harm, Prevention, Treat the whole person, doctor as teacher and to identify and treat the cause.
Dr. Ragbir holds an undergraduate degree from the University of the West Indies and obtained his naturopathic education from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and has been in practice for over 18 years. He is strongly rooted in the Principles of Naturopathic Medicine and is passionate about teaching sustainable health and healing.
He uses herbs, supplements, homeopathics, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, IV therapy and mind-body medicine. Mind-body medicine involves using the mind’s ability to heal the body as gently as possible, as quickly as possible and as totally and sustainably as possible. One of Dr. Ragbir’s areas of expertise is working with people to manage and eliminate stress.
